I love Badger Mail

Ok, so we are working on the next release (always) and I have a new favorite feature -- Badger Mail, an email reminding me to do my part.

Badger Mail badgers problem owners and action owners every so often until they close the problem or action. Because people procrastinate differently, the badger mail sends reminders before its due, on the day its due, and then every X days after its due. The system administrator decides how frequently to pester folks about overdue actions. Too many reminders and you'll ignore them, too few and things may languish too long, but what is just right? Depends on the accepted company norms of behavior.

The reminder task runs overnight, so when you skulk into work in the morning, you'll have your badger mails reminding you what you need to do today.

Yup, I think I can hear you saying, "Oh, Goody!" Let the Badgering begin.....

Hello Laurie. I gave a big laught seing your dog, which is known here as "o cão pescador" (the fishing dog). I had one already, I called him leão (lion), because of the hair. They are amazingly fun to be, active and very smart too! Every day I got home and it was like he hadn´t seen me in years. Was always ready to play, specially on the beach.

I am also a great fan of your work. I work with 8D´s every day in an automotive company in Portugal to solve their complaints and manage customer related quality issues. I am doing a thesis on how to increase the responsivness on delivering 8D reports to customers.
We have internal rules, deadlines to fullfil the 8D steps, sometimes we fulfill them, but most of the times we fail to send answers within time, because corrective actions as well as investigations take loads of time, specially when the part goes to the supplier and we get status red all the time. Do you have any tip on how to increase the speed of making 8D´s and fulfill these deadlines? perhaps you have passed through the same experience.

Continue with your nice work and play a lot with your dog, he likes it =)
